The single features several versions of the title track ‘This Beat Is Funky.’ The ‘Mo Better Funky Remix,’ composed by Lil’ Nation and M.C. Ren, runs for 5:41 minutes and stands out with its intricate arrangement featuring Ron Krasinski on drums, The Martin Brothers with their horn contributions, and L.A. Dre on the organ. The remix was produced by M.C. Ren, known as “The Ruthless Villain.” This version elevates the track with an enriched sound, adding depth and complexity to the original composition.

Another notable version is the ‘Video Mix,’ a 3:15-minute rendition co-produced by “The Incredible Young D,” and composed by a team including D. Reeves, J. Spicer, L. Smith, Lil’ Nation, and R.
